What types of cell phones Are accepted?

We will accept any type of cell phone. Gently-used cellular devices from any carrier are preferred to broken or dated devices. Proceeds are still generated from the recycling of broken and dated devices, however, the charity benefits most from recent, functioning phones. Batteries, chargers, SIM cards and accessories are not required.

What happens to the cell phones?

The cell phones are sold to a company that recycles them. The money obtained for the phones is used to purchase calling cards and free phone service for deployed and returning military personnel.

Is my donation tax deductible?
